It's not too late to get involved

Planning for Rising Tide 6 is going on now, but it ain't over till it's over. We still need your help. Our program is nearly set for the Main Stage, but Stage 2 is being brainstormed right now.
Mallory Whitfield is coordinating Stage 2, and she is putting together a fun, informative and hands-on program of events. We are having a meeting on July 13 to discuss proposals and scheduling. Interested people are invited to attend. Send an e-mail to me at stelladubois @ gmail for directions to the meeting.
Additionally, we need volunteers more than ever. We are expecting our largest audience ever this year and we need help with everything from morning pastries to evening clean up. Please contact me if you would like to volunteer.

That Amazing Rate, or 48 Hours

The one thing that can be counted on about time is that, one way or another, it will pass, and it's been doing it pretty fast as far as Rising Tide VI registrations are concerned.

Yes, it's true - we do have two featured speakers this year, but everybody still wants to coast a little on the registrations...after all, the conference itself isn't until August 27th. Time enough to kick back in an air-conditioned spot with the beverage of your choice 'til then. No biggie.

Well, pardon me...this might hurt a bit...

You have 48 HOURS to sign up to see featured speakers Richard Campanella and David Simon and to take in the panel discussions we have planned, the local exhibitors, and the in-depth workshops, with a midday break for enjoying a tasty lunch from J'anita's (yes, we feed you, too!) for only $25. Come July 1st, it goes up to $30.

So you'll have to stir from your comfortable spot to get in on this, I know. But it will be worth it. I promise. Plus, it's a painless process, really it is. Head over here to register and give it a try. We'd love to see you there.

And then you can go back to your lolling about, 'cause there'll be nothing to worry about. Honest.
