Keynotes For Rising Tide 6

We are very excited to announce two keynote speakers for this year's Rising Tide, Treme creator David Simon and geographer Richard Campanella.

David Simon is creator and executive producer of HBO's New Orleans drama Treme. He is a Baltimore-based former journalist for the Baltimore Sun and television producer of acclaimed programs such as The Corner, The Wire and Generation Kill.

Richard Campanella, a research assistant professor at Tulane University, is a geographer and author of six critically acclaimed books on the physical and human geography of New Orleans: Bienville's Dilemma, Geographies of New Orleans, Lincoln in New Orleans, New Orleans Then and Now , Delta Urbanism, Time and Place in New Orleans.
